Offinso Juvenile footballers laid to rest
The young colts footballers from Africa Vision Soccer Academy who were involved in the Offinso accident have been laid to rest today at their hometown.
The sad incident occurred on Saturday, 17 September when the team were returning from Afrancho for colts league registration,the accident which claimed 8 lives with about 24 of them suffering various degree of injuries.
Government, FIFA, CAF, and Ghana Football Association officials were at the mass burial to pay their tributes and last respect to the departed players.
The burial service held today was also attended by Hon Isaac Asiamah (Youth & Sports Minister) and Hon Peter Twumasi( National Sports Authority).
