Faisal will be competitive when Premier League returns in November- Alhaji Gruzah
The founder and bankroller of King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Gruzah, has told Local Media that with preparations being put in place by the technical team, the players would be in top form to hit the ground running when the competition starts.
Faisal are preparing to start a pre-season training as soon as possible to fine-tune in their preparation for the Ghana Premier League which is expected to start in November.
Reacting to the return of contact sports after six months suspension, Alhaji Gruzah said his team started recruiting quality players during the suspension of football activities.
The Kumasi based club were rooted at the bottom of the league log at the time of the suspension of the league.
However, to Alhaji Gruzah, the technical team would make a few additions to transform King Faisal into a formidable team capable of making the league very competitive when the Premier League resumed.
“ We are ready for the league because we would start pre- season training very soon to keep the players in good shape for the start of the league. However, we will add a few players to those we recruited to make King Faisal very formidable, so there is no cause for alarm,” Alhaji Gruzah assured.
He urged all fans of the club to offer the requisite support to players and technical team to galvanize them to offer their best to keep the club afloat when the Premier League resumed.
