Medeama beat Proud United in a preseason friendly
Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC beat Division One outfit Proud United in a preseason friendly on Sunday as both teams prepare ahead of the upcoming season.
The ambitious topflight side were give a tough match by their opponents in a thrilling encounter that ended 4-3 in favour of the Tarkwa based club.
Touted as one of the teams likely to win the Ghana Premier League, Medeama had four different scorers in the highly entertaining game.
Abdul Basit, Agyenim Boateng, Ebenezer Ackahbi and Daniel Egyin were all on the scoresheet for the Mauve and Yellows.
Medeama SC have been preparing rigorously ahead of the new season, and were rampant in their previous friendlies, scoring 29 goals in two matches.
They are expected to cause a lot of havoc to the traditional big names in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
