PHOTOS:Axim Sports Stadium becomes a’giant Bathtub’ after heavy rains
The new Axim Sports Complex was commissioned in 2020 this year after mega construction works funded by the central government for an estimate cost of $1.5million USD.
Unfortunately, the stadium which is almost completed according to Government officials has been left entirely flooded after heavy rains hit the town.The unfortunate incident happened on Friday, 6 November 2020.
According to eye witness reports, the construction works might be shoddy and that resulted the flooding.
