PHOTOS:Historic moment as Nzema East Municipal gets new DFA chairperson
Margaret Cudjoe, popularly known as Auntie Maggie especially by Sekondi Hasaacas faithfuls has been elected as the chairperson of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly Football Association after going unopposed, Domesticsportsgh has been told.
She has contributed immensely towards to development of football in the region amassed 8 votes out of the total 8 votes casts.
According to her, She said she won’t be going to sleep after this election as she will improve on her contribution in the development of football especially women’s football in her district.
Her being elected makes her the only woman in the history of Ghana to become a chairperson of a district football association.
“ Am happy for this recognition and am ready to work hard as well to improve football in Nzema East” am proud once again” she told West End Radio in an interview.
She will serve the good of people of Nzema East for next 4-years as she steps in as first FA chairperson for the first time since 2012.
