FACTS CHECKED: Diawisie Taylor hits his 50th mark goal for Karela
Ghanaian Star Diawisie Taylor has scored his 50th “Competitive” goal for Karela United following their Ghana Premier League match-Day seven clash against Elmina Sharks on Sunday.
The 23-year old goal poacher converted a penalty against sharks to reach half a century of goals for the passioners.
He becomes only the second Karela United player to ever reach or surpass the 50th goal mark for the Aiyinase-based club after club legend Sampson Eduku.
The prolific striker reached the outstanding milestone on his 89th official game.
Taylor joined Karela United on October 2016 from Bibiani Gold Stars.
He recorded his first official goal for the passioners on DOL Match Day 12 away game against Bekwai Youth academy on 17th May, 2017.
He has gone on to score over 40 official goals for Karela United since 2017.
