Accra Lions emerged victors of the 5-goal thriller after initially going two goals down at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, 9 January 2021.

The away side scored two goals in two minutes and went to the break on a fine lead.

Sadat Mohammed breaked the virginity of the game on the 28th minute before Mohammed Alhassan doubled the the lead.

The Lions were awarded a penalty which was brilliantly converted by Salifu Raul in the hour mark to reduce the deficit to 2:1.

Erstwhile Nkoranza Warriors forward Evans Etti who replaced Bubacarr Kebbeh before the proceedings of the second half notched a brace in two minutes to seal the victory for Accra Lions.

The former Karela United youngster opened his goal account and the equalizer for the home team on the 73rd minute.

The equalizer left the away side under intense pressure while Accra Lions pushed further for a winner. Their work rate and insistence paid off as Evans Etti fired home his second and Accra Lions third goal of the day to make it 3:2 in just two minutes after equalizing for his side.
