Mosimane also revealed that he was forced to give his players the hairdryer treatment during the match and that a number of tactical tweaks were needed in order to secure the result.

“Since my arrival in Egypt, I have not gotten angry at the players as much as today. I always try to be calm, but today we were not good,” the former Mamelodi Sundowns boss added.

Mosimane maintained his unbeaten record as Al Ahly boss on Thursday after masterminding a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Arab Contractors in the Egyptian Premier League, courtesy of three second-half goals from Taher Mohamed, Mohamed Sherif and Afsha.

“I don’t think the two halves of the match were different because we were able to create chances in both of them,” Pitso reflected during his post-match press conference, per Egyptian publication KingFut.
