Hearts of Oak Coach, Kosta Papic, has resigned after just 77 days in the role, deepening the instability at the technical department of the Ghanaian giants.
On December 1, 2020, the 60-year old Serbian- placed on a $4,000 monthly salary- was announced to have returned to the club in a deal that was to run until the end of the ongoing 2020/21 Season.
After a lengthy discussion with the club’s top hierarchy on Monday, the former eSwatini trainer cited personal reasons for his decision and turn down several pleas from board members to stay.
Papic took over from Edward Odoom and led Hearts to 10 matches in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, with four wins, 3 draws and three loses.
Hearts of Oak are currently 11th in the league standings, having played 14 games so far.
