PSG name squad for Barca clash
Last season’s runners-up Paris Saint-Germain have named their squad for tonight’s much-anticipated UEFA Champions League clash against FC Barcelona, with two notable absentees.
PSG and Barca will go head-to-head in the latest instalment of the two giants’ rivalry on Tuesday when they meet in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash in Spain.
The Parisians have named a star-studded 22-man squad for the encounter but will be without key players Neymar and Angel Di Maria, who both miss out through injury.
Barca and PSG played out one of the competition’s most famous matches during their last meeting in 2017 when the Catalan giants recorded a remarkable 6-5 aggregate win over their Ligue 1 opponents, courtesy of a dramatic 6-1 second leg reversal at the Nou Camp.
The match is set to kick off at 22:00 (South Africa time) and the second leg will be played on 10 March 2021 at the Parc des Princes.
