Kosta Papic resigned from his post as Hearts of Oak coach on February 16, 2021 following a dismal run of results that saw his side slip down the league table just weeks after being tipped as title challengers.
Per the reports we have gathered by West End Radio, stated that On December 1, 2020, Hearts of Oak announced Kosta Papic has been placed on a $4,000 monthly salary in a deal that was to run until the end of the 2020/21 ongoing season.
The 60-year old Serbian tactician’s $48,000 a year salary would have been the highest paid coach in Ghana.
Papic took over from Edward Odoom and led Hearts of Oak to 10 matches in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, with four wins, 3 draws and three loses.
Hearts of Oak are currently 11th in the league standings, having played 14 games so far.
