South Africa U20 star completes Irish move
South Africa U-20 international Katlego Mashigo has signed for League of Ireland Premier Division side Waterford FC.

Mashigo (20) has completed a move to Waterford on a free transfer after spending the 2019/20 season with the youth sides of rivals Bohemians FC.
“Training has been good” Mashigo told the club’s website. “I’ve met some of the lads over the week and I’m really enjoying it.”
“It’s been tough. The managers have put in place what they want from us over the season so hopefully, we can be ready to deliver.
“It’s great to have Daryl and Brian [Murphy] around you every day, their experience and knowledge of the game is phenomenal. So, it’s fantastic to learn from players that have been at the highest level.
“I’m looking forward to getting playing. I’m energetic, love a tackle, I’d love to add a few goals over the season as well.”
The Soshanguve-born midfielder featured in the UEFA Youth League during his time with Bohemians, prior to which he spent time in the academy system of English side Fleetwood Town.
