Board Chairman of Medeama Sporting Club, Dr. Tony Aubynn has said that Justice Blay will remain at the club despite mounting interest from Asante Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors are back in the hunt for the highly-rated combative midfielder after failing to sign him on a permanent basis at the start of the season.
A lackluster approach from the club’s top brass means they lost out on the midfielder who enjoyed an explosive loan spell in Kumasi in the 2019/20.
His outstanding performance for the club made him the fans favourite player.
But according to the board chairman insists Blay will stay at the club as they hope to qualify for Africa.
“There’s nothing between us and Kotoko regarding Justice Blay, but now we’re hoping to go to Africa and he is staying with us” he told Westgold Radio.
