Mallam Yahaya in line for Proud United coaching job -Report
The former Nzema Kotoko coach could become the next substantive manager of Proud United as he is regarded the best tactician to help Proud United survive in the league, Domesticsportsgh.com has learnt.
The 46-year-old coach is seen as the right man for the top job by the Jomoro-based club and has already opened up negotiations with them.
However, the Nzema-based sports portal has gathered that management of the Proud United are confident of luring the former Borussia Dultmund star following a fruitful negotiation over his pursuit.
The relationship between Wassaman and Mallam is believed to have been sour from the start of the season precipitating attempts of the young coach to leave.
Proud United are believed to have made a formal request for Mallam from Wassaman United last season by the Jomoro-based club declined the request insisting the young man was a project for the club.
