Former Ellembelle police commander Thomas Bayor burial set for May 22
Ghanaians and police fraternity will bid farewell to former Ellembelle District Commander Superintendent Thomas Bayor on May 22.
The head of the funeral planning committee, during the one week observation on Saturday, said the family, in consultation with the government, has agreed on the date.
The funeral rites for the 48-year-old will take place at his hometown of Jirapa-Douri in the Upper West Region.
Supt Bayor who served from 2017-2021 was Ellembelle District police commander.
He died on 10 April at the Interberton- Teaching Hospital in Cape Coast after a short illness.
