I’m not under pressure to perform – Karela Coach Evans Adotey
Karela United coach Evans Adotey says he is now relieved from the intense pressure following his side victory over Bechem United on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The former Black Satellite trainer came under intense pressure after back to back away defeats to Dreams Fc and Inter Allies.
The Aiyinase-based club defeated Bechem United 2-1 in match day 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking after the game, the former Black Starlet trainer admitted that he has been relieved from the intense pressure with the recent victory and is of the view he wasn’t under pressure after defeat to Inter Allies and Dreams Fc.
Asked if he has been relieved after the victory, he said, “Yes I’m relieved because we lost a couple of games which wasn’t very good for us. Honestly speaking the team was under pressure when event were turning the way it went”
“The boys were under pressure including myself but you know we’ve been in this industry for a while and that, we have to calm their nerves down. We went into the game to prove that we needed the points than Bechem United and that is what we demonstrated” he said at the post match pressure.
Kotoko are 5th on the table with 37 points.
