KWODWO ADDAE: The profile of Karela United Player of the Month winner for April
Born 7 September, 1995 is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as defender for Ghana Premier League side Karela United. Although he mainly play as a centre-back, and can also play as right back.
Kwodwo Addae began his professional career with National Division One League’s side Bibiani Gold Stars before moving to Karela United on a 2-year deal in 2017. He spent two seasons at the club before moving on loan to Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs in 2019.
He came back to Karela United in 2019, and featured in 9 league matches in the 2019-20 Ghana Premier League season before the league was suspended and later cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
2020–21 season
He made his 26 appearance for the club in a 2-0 win against Techiman Eleven Wonders in the league game at CAM Park. On 27, May 2021, Kwodwo Addae was named Karela player of the month winner for April, an award organized by Domesticsportsgh.com in conjunction with Shaip Africa Foundation as its sponsors.
