Winning GPL is not our priority” – Karela PRO
Ghana Premier League side Karela United says winning the league title is not a priority.
Karela United Communications Director Nii Armah Ashong has stated that winning the Ghana Premier League is not his outfit’s immediate priority, adding the clubs is in its rebuilding process.
The Passioners have been bad this second round dropping from 1st Position to the 7th Position, and the supporters have grown impatient due to the shambolic displayed by the team as they suffered 4-1 defeat to relegation-bound Ebusua Dwarfs.
However, according to the club’s PRO, the Aiyinase giants are not targeting the league this season but rather eyeing for a respectable position after the season. He also called on the supporters to be patient with the tem ahead of the remaining fixtures of the Ghana Premier League despite their indefinite home ban.
” We are have not said it anywhere that we want to win the League” he told West End Radio.
‘Our major priority is to finish the season in a respectable position” he added.
