Julien Chevalier lauds Asec players for 27th league triumph
Asec Mimosas reclaimed the top spot of the Ivorian football league for the first time in two years following their 27th league triumph last Saturday.
The yellow and black side drew 0-0 with San Pedro and was all important to succeed thier long time mission.
Reacting after their celebration, head coach Julien Chevalier congratulated his boys for the historic feat.
” We believed in ourselves that we can do it, no wonder we have been rewarded, congratulations to my boys, they were fantastic” coach Julien told Sports-avoire.ci in an interview.
Asec Mimosas will represent Cote D’Ivoire in the CAF champions league and FC San Pedro which finished second for the third time in thier history will play in the Confederations Cup.
