Liberty Professionals beat Karela United to move out of relegation zone
They came, they saw and conquered.That was the story on Sunday afternoon when relegation embattled Liberty Professionals played home away from home to beat Karela United 3-2 after the game.
The massive results gave the Scientific Soccer lads an emphatic victory over the away team.
Liberty Professionals currently have
38 points from 32 games and climbed out of the relegation zone to raise hopes of avoiding relegation this season.
Knowing that they needed to win to enhance chances of survival, Liberty Professionals started today’s match on a bright note and scored just 12 minutes into the first half through Abraham Wayo.
While Diawisie Taylor will score to draw level for Karela United three minutes later, a Kweku Karikari strike from the spot in the 26th minute ensured that the home team went into the break with a lead.
In a second half of many action, goals from Karamadin Mamudu and Evans Owusu canceled out as Liberty Professionals held on to win 3-2 at the end of the 90 minutes.
