“Playing away from home has affected our performance”- Karela United Chairman
Karela United Unique Passions Chairman, Emmanuel Kwofie believes playing away from home in their last two games has affected their performance.
The Passioners have played their last two games at the Nduom Sports Complex against Ebusua Dwarfs where they lost 4-1 and it is the heaviest defeat in the history of the club and a 2-0 defeat to WAFA at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Speaking to West End Radio on Wednesday evening, Chairman Donzy said, “playing away from home has hampered their top four ambitions and position on the league standings, we would have accumulated the maximum six points if we were playing at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park”.
Karela United are banned from the CAM park following assaults on Medeama SC players and officials, resulting in injuries and damage to property and unsporting behaviour by the home supporters in their MTN FA Cup Round of 32 tie on Sunday, June 20, 2021.
