Ghana Premier League side Karela United turned down a request from rival’s Nzema Kotoko Football Club to use their stadium early this year.

In a letter responding to the request, Karela United said the club was unable to grant the request because Nzema Kotoko had in February 2020 denied them the opportunity to sign their player on account of the two clubs being rivals.

The letter signed by Karela United CEO, Elloeny Amande said the club was unable to share its asset with a club that considers it rivals.
The letter also added that Karela would soon be relaying the artificial grass at the CAM Park.

These comments has gingered Nzema Supporters Chief who has openly against the decision regarding the transfer of their star player Akese Akese’s move to Karela United.

According to West End Radio reports, Karela have officially requested the services of Akese Akese.

” Nzema Kotoko will never offer any of our players to Karela FC”
” They see Nzema Kotoko as rivals and you are aware and that’s why they didn’t give us the park when we needed that park. The said tension was started by them and we will replicate same. Law of KARMA” Hon Abizi Morkeh revealed this on the officially WhatsApp page of the club.

Akese Akese has been the hot cake after his historic 6-goal triller againts Star Madrid. Medema, Legon Cities and AshantiGold are chasing the young goal poacher.
