EXCLUSIVE: Medeama SC set to gazump premiership duo for Akese Akese
Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC are set to gazump their regional rivals Karela United and Legon Cities for the signature of Nzema Kotoko’s striker Patrick Akese Akese, Domesticsportsgh.com can exclusively confirm.
Domesticsportsgh.com had earlier reported that Karela United and Legon Cities had earlier made an offer for the sharp-shooting forward.
But it looks like the Tarkwa based outfits are set to sanction a lucrative deal for the Nzema Kotoko attacking jewel.
Akese Akese has enjoyed a striking form with the coconut groove club, notching 11 goals and 8 assists in 25 games he has mustered in the National Division One this season.
The shining star of Nzema Kotoko joined the club from Division II side, Western Masters on a five years contract in 2019 and instantly formed a deadly duo with Dreams FC forward Agyenim Boateng Mensah at club in the Normalisation Committee Special Cup,where Nzema Kotoko were runners after loosing 1:0 to Ashanti Gold SC.
