Division Two League: Nazarians, Holy stars to represent Nzema Zone in the Sub-middle League
Nazarians FC and Basake Holy Stars are on the verge of qualifying to the sub-middle league in the ongoing Western Regional Football Association Second Division League following a decision revealed by the organizers to end the competition after the first round.
The two sides have been impressive so far in the league, having had the highest number of points than any other clubs in the Zone. Nazarians are Leading the table with 20 points whiles Basake Holy Stars closely occupying the second position with 16 points after 8 rounds of games.
The two teams will therefore join the 14 other qualified teams from other zones to compete in the sub- middle league, which will see eight teams progressing to the super middle league. The winner of the final game will then represent the region in next season’s National Division One League.
The Nzema zone of the RFA Division Two is currently going underway at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Nzema Aiyinase.
