Report: Messi decides on next club
Lionel Messi has reportedly decided on his next team after officially parting ways with FC Barcelona.
The Catalans shocked world football on Thursday evening after announcing that the Argentine superstar will be leaving after failing to sign a new deal.
The Argentine reportedly travelled to Barcelona on Thursday with the expectation of agreeing to a new five-year deal, which would have been announced before the Joan Gamper Trophy clash on Sunday.
However, new reports claim that Argentine is set to take his talents to the French capital with Paris Saint-Germain.
European journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi says the Argentine has made up his mind and his father, Jorge Messi, is on his way to Paris as the club look to wrap up a deal this weekend.
Messi would become PSG’s fifth signing ahead of the new season after Achraf Hakimi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
