Samuel Eto’o’s son offered big trial in Europe
Samuel Eto’o’s son, Etienne, has been offered a trial at one of the biggest clubs in the game, Benfica, with the 19-year-old aiming to make his mark in Europe.
The Cameroon U20 star was recently released from Spanish second-tier side Real Oviedo after spending a year with the club.

With Etienne having been a free agent since the 2020/21 campaign ended, the Portuguese giants have seemingly decided they want to take a look at the player by offering him a trial with their B team.
The striker made headlines earlier this year when he scored two goals in two games for the Cameroon U20 team, including a free-kick on his debut for the side.
The young forward is now training with the Benfica B side that plays in Portugal’s second tier in the hope of signing a contract with a club.
Etienne has big aspirations, having previously revealed during an interview that he hopes to one day be better than his father, who had a successful career at clubs such as Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
