WORLD NEWS: Bayern will not let Lewandowski leave
Following reports earlier on Thursday that Robert Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich, how the Bundesliga club feels about the speculation has seemingly been revealed.
On Thursday morning, there were a number of reports suggesting that the Polish striker is keen to leave the Bavarians in search of a “new challenge”.
However, according to The Athletic journalist Raphael Honigstein, the Bundesliga side is not willing to part ways with their talisman at any fee.
It had also been claimed that the German club had a valuation upward of £100 million (R2 billion) for the former Borussia Dortmund attacker, seemingly designed to dissuade other clubs from making bids for the player, but according to Honigstein, no such price tag exists.
