The Academy lads have reportedly reached an advance agreement with AshantiGold SC for the young chap.
According to Ghana football expert and statistician Shaban Mohammed of MOTV and Atinka Media village, Simpson who played on loan for Liberty Professionals last season has already completed his medical examination this week.
WAFA are expected to announce the signing of Razak Simpson in the coming days.
