According to GTV Sports plus, serbian tactician, Milovan Rajevac is leading the race to become the new head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana following the departure of C.K Akonnor.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) last Monday announced that it has terminated the contract of Black Stars coach CK Akonnor.
The decision was taken by the Executive Council of the Ghana FA on Monday on the back of an emergency meeting that became necessary after the Black Stars lost 1-0 to South Africa in the qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The GFA’s preferred choice was Herve Renard, but his wages has stalled the process.
As a result, the other candidate shortlisted, Milovan Rajevac is in the pole position for the Black Stars job.
