WRFA D2 SUPER MIDDLE LEAGUE: Great Holy gun down “miserable” Power Boys
Basake Holy Stars started their Super Middle League campaign in a grande style at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park as Adjoafuaman FC endured a 5-1 humiliating defeat in the opener.
Holy Stars broke the deadlock through Emmanuel Kwame Opoku after many attempt to open the floodgate.
Godfred Agbelemawusi increased the lead for the Great Holy with his brilliant dummy and deft finish.
Adjoafuaman FC pulled one back with a great effort through Eric Baidoo as the defence of Holy Stars went to sleep.
The former Forcies midfielder, Godfred Agbelemawusi got his brace and made it 3-1 for Basake Holy Stars.
The Basake based outfits continued with the onslaught as Jacob Arizie Somiah made it 4-1 against Adjoafuaman FC with few minutes to end proceedings.
Gabriel Gadikor made it five for the “Nyamenle wua yɛkɛ wu” Lads with some minutes to end the game.
Holy Stars have booked their place in the Semi finals of the Western Regional Division Two Super Middle League and will wait for the results of Akropong FC and Nkwantaman United later in the day.
