Medeama Sporting Club are set to announce the signing of former Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Frimpong ahead of the 2021-22 season, Domesticsportsgh.com can exclusively confirm.
Frimpong is expected to ink a two-years contract with the Yellow and Mauves after undergoing a successful medicals.
The 24-year old is joining the Tarkwa based outfits on a free transfer after parting ways with Kumasi Asante Kotoko who had initially wanted him to move on-loan to Aduana Stars, but the player and his representatives declined the deal.
Samuel Frimpong was very instrumental for the Porcupine Warriors last season despite the club not been able to win the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.
The former Karela United and Bekwai Youth Football Academy right-back will become the ninth player to join Medeama SC this season.
