Daboase-based Skyy FC have been crowned winners of the maiden Super Cup competition after wining 7-6 on penalties against Tema Youth in a keenly contested game played at the Madina Astro turf.
Skyy FC went ahead in the 15th minute through energetic Striker Mamatah brilliant goal.
Tema Youth returned from the break to cancelled the lead in the 49th through Emmanuel Owusu’s header.
After 120 minutes of highly anticipating encounter, the Western Region side won 7-6 on Penalties to win the maiden Super cup competition.
Skyy FC took home Ghc 10,000 and Gold medal for wining the ultimate prize.
Meanwhile, newly promoted Ghana Premier League outfit Accra Lions earlier in the day defeated FC Samartex to clinch the third place spot.
The competition was to serve as preseason tournament for the participating clubs ahead of the upcoming league season which commence on October 29, 2021.
