The Chief Executive of Bibiani Goldstars has revealed that thier target for the season is to maintain their status in the top flight.
The Bibiani-based club secured thier qualification to the Premier League, topping Zone Two table after historic campaign in the just ended 2020/21 Division One League Season.
The Western North side has already beefed up their technical team with the appointment of Micheal Osei as the new head coach.
However, the Chief Executive Officer of the club further stressed that their simple target is to remain in the league at the end of the season.
“In my opinion, winning the league title the first and second season wouldn’t matter, sustaining in the first and second season matters”.
“Going into the third, fourth and fifth seasons we must be planning to play an African match here at the Duns Park Bibiani because there’s nothing impossible in the books of Gold Stars management,” he stated.
Gold Stars will play their first premier league match of the season at home against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, October 30 at the Duns Park.
