Elmina Sharks skipper Ishmael Hammond was adjudged the NASCO Man of the Match in the opening game for the 2021/22 Premier League season against League debutant Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The defender was stupendous for Sharks as they held the debutant to 1-1 draw on Friday night.
Former Hearts player Michelle Sarpong opened the scores for Elmina Sharks before Rafiu Salifu grabbed the equalizer for the host.
The defender was adjudged the NASCO man of the award following his impressive performance on the day.
