Dawu-based Dreams FC on Saturday afternoon recorded an emphatic 3-1 win over Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
The two clubs today locked horns at the Theatre of Dreams to battle for points on matchday 3 of the ongoing 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
In a game that thrilled fans, Dreams FC had a bright start and equalized after just 13 minutes through Hufaz Ali to take a deserved lead.
Continuing to pile pressure on the away team, Dreams FC scored a second in the 19th minute when striker Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored with a fine effort.
Although Accra Lions will grab a consolation through leading marksman Salifu Rauf before the break, a second from Agyenim Boateng in the second half to complete his brace sealed a comfortable 3-1 win for Dreams FC at the end of the 90 minutes.
With today’s result, Dreams FC now has six points from three matches and has climbed to 3rd on the league table.
