Karela United on Sunday came from behind to beat Berekum Chelsea 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
After an unimpressive start to the new 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign, the two teams locked horns at the Akoon Community Park today to battle for maximum points on matchday 3.
Following a bright start to the match, Bright Amponsah scored to open the scoring for Berekum Chelsea.
Failing to protect the lead, Karela United equalized in the 30th minute through Umar Bashiru to force the first half to end in a scoring stalemate.
Later in the second half, Darlington Gyan Fosu settled the contest with a fantastic second goal in the 50th minute that handed Karela United a 2-1 win in order to merit the maximum three points of the game.
