Immediately after the game, Robert Marawa said, Ghana gave an cruel and inhumane treatment to South Africans by flying 13hrs from Johannesburg- Accra and then to match venue Cape Coast.

” They made the team to drive 9hrs to the venue and gave us a fonk-kong referee” Robert Marawa tweeted!

They made the Team to drive 9hrs to the Venue then gave us a fong-kong referee!!

These comment didn’t go well with some Ghana soccer fans and hence took social media to tagged the most respected journalist on Africa continent comment’s as ‘Lies’.

Here are some of their comments and tweets below;

4hours to Accra on road and 6 hour flight

— robertmarawa (@robertmarawa) November 14, 2021

Rob, the max number of hours for an Accra-Cape Coast trip is 3 hours. A 9 hour drive would take you to the northernmost part of the country. Please don't mislead the public!

Robert I've followed you since I joined Twitter. You are respected across the continent. Don't stoop so low when going public. Accept the L and move on. Ghana is miles ahead of RSA in football (national team). You guys saw nothing wrong when Ethiopia chose to play Ghana in RSA.

This is not true sir, from Accra to Cape Coast is less than 2 hours drive be factual Sir. Lies cant win. Come again

— Kwabɛna Star ???? (@KwabenaStar_) November 14, 2021

Stop the blatant silly lies. How’s Accra-Cape Coast 9 hours? Unless the team travelled on bicycles. Besides, there’s no way the team will travel to the match venue on the matchday. Stop the nonsense

Why lie? Especially when the information you put out is so easily verifiable? pic.twitter.com/mIWaqJHOeD
