Newly promoted Division One League side, Basake Holy Stars have appointed former Ghana Under 20 assistant coach Augustine Evans Adotey as their new technical director, the club has announced.
The experienced gaffer will lead the team in the upcoming Division One League season which kick start on Friday.
The former Black Maidens coach has been without a club since he was asked to step aside on health grounds by his former employers, Karela United.
In an interview with West End Radio Head to Head show, Solomon Bosomtwe, the club’s Administrative Manager confirmed his appointment as their new technical director.
” It’s true, Coach Adotey is our new technical director, he has been training with us since October, and he’s set to guide us in the upcoming season” he said.
The 57-year old has vast experience in coaching, having managed Medeama SC, Karela United, Sekondi Hasacaas and serving as an assistant coach under Karim Zito at Black Satellite.
