Basake Holy Stars has revealed their target for the upcoming National Division One League season which kick start on Friday.
The much-anticipated league is returning this weekend for the 2021/22 football Season and according to club Administrative Manager, Solomon Bosomtwe, their ultimate target is to remain in the league for the very first time as debutant.
“We want to focus mostly on our team just to remain in the league, that’s our major target for now’ to build formidable team and survive at the end of the season” he told West End Radio.
“We’ve worked defensively starting from the frontline, the midfield, and then the defense; they are doing so well so we will make sure that we send the same mentality into the season.”he added.
The Nzema-based side secured their qualification to the Division One League after historic campaign last season’s Western Region Division Two League.
The Great Holy will open their DOL account against another new comers Soccer Intellectuals at the Ajumako Park this weekend.
