Karela United Supporters Union, ‘The Passions’ have verbally warned referees who have been assigned to officiate Sunday’s showdown between Karela United and Asante Kotoko.
In a press conference held yesterday at the VIP lounge of the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Thursday afternoon, the supporters expressed their dissatisfaction about recent officiating against them, addressing the media, the interim chairman, Albert Acquah-Agape said the referees have not been fair to them since the commencement of the Ghana Premier league, particularly the recent incidence that occurred in Obuasi and Tarkwa.
“ We are not happy about our officiating so far, therefore we are pleading to the referees to be fair with us in our games, not necessarily they should help us to win but rather they must be free and fair” he noted.
Karela host Asante kotoko on Sunday in the week five of the Ghana Premier League.
