The former Mpumalanga Black Aces, Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park attacker returned to Zimbabwe following the long list of controversies during his spell in the PSL.

According to The Herald, Ndoro has now devoted himself to God and is worshipping at the Victorious Family International Church in Mbare, Harare where he gave testimony during last Sunday’s service.

“I am very grateful, and my life has since changed after I turned to God. There was a lot of hearsay concerning my life where nobody could confirm with me.

“I became blind for three weeks but with the support and prayers from my pastor, Kudakwashe Jose, everything has changed for the better as I can now see,” Ndoro said.

Recent images showing a frail-looking Ndoro sparked health concerns while training with Zimbabwe second-tier side Simba Bhora back in October, owned by a relative Simba Ndoro.

Simba Ndoro then confirmed that the former Pirates forward had been experiencing health issues that he was working his way through.

“I am very happy for the support I have been receiving from my relatives and family members from the church. It has been a long journey for me, and it needs a whole day to explain but from the counselling and guidance I am getting from the church leader, everything is going on well,” Ndoro said while confirming he has been diagnosed with diabetes.

Now 36, Ndoro last featured in the PSL for Highlands Park when making his last appearance against Kaizer Chiefs in January 2020.

The Lions of the North then announced Ndoro’s departure in May 2020 who hasn’t been heard of in football circles since then.
