Host nation for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Cameroon has announced a provisional squad ahead of the start of the tournament in January 2022.
Head coach of the Indomitable Lions Antonio Conceiçao Oliviera named a 40-man squad for camping that will subsequently be trimmed to 28 or below.
There are three new names in the squad of the five-time African champions.
French youth international Sacha Boey who plays for Galatasaray, Angers’ Enzo Ebosse (also French-born, and one-capped USA international Jeremy Ebobisse are the debutants.
The delayed 2021 Afcon will kick off on January 9 with Cameroon opening the competition against Burkina Faso at Stade Omnisport Paul Biya, Olembé.
