Ghana captain, Andre Ayew believes the Black Stars have been unlucky in the last few years and hard work and a bit of luck this time could be the year the country ends the trophy drought.
The Former Olympic De Marseille player disclosed this after Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to Morocco.
He revealed that Ghana were just unlucky in their 1-0 defeat to Morocco on Monday at the Ahidjo Stadium in Cameroon.
“ Ghana still has the chance, we need little bit luck to end our trophy drought which I believe we still have the chance”. he said.
Ghana are yet to win an Africa Cup of Nations since 1982. They have been finalists previously in 1992, 2010 and 2015 respectively.
In the ongoing tournament in Cameroon, the Black Stars are in Group C alongside Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
