A renowned Ghanaian lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning claims the Black Stars will need trio – Mohammed Salisu, Alfred Duncan and Tariq Lamptey to edge past Nigeria in a crunch 2022 World Cup playoff.
The West African giants are desperate to atone for their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations disastrous outing by qualifying at the expense of their eternal rivals next month.
The Ghana FA are making frenetic efforts to entice top stars to represent the four-time African champions ahead of the must-win game against the Super Eagles.
But renowned lawyer and former journalist Moses Foh-Amoaning says the inclusion of the trio will improve the chances of the team.
“Imagine this Black Stars with Salisu [Mohammed], Tariq Lamptey, with Duncan, with the Inaki brothers, imagine the Black Stars with all these players, imagine the quality that we will have because we don’t even have the people to put the ball in the net”, Foh Amoaning said.
He however stressed that issues like black magic [juju] scares players away from playing for the Ghana national team. He noted that such reports have psychological effects on the players.
Ghana has been courting some foreign-based players like Inaki Williams, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tariq Lamptey who are eligible to play for the Black Stars.
