Sensational striker, Patrick Akese Akese has resumed training with his side, Medeama SC after three months on the sidelines due to an ankle injury.
After a blistering season with Nzema Kotoko in the National Division One League last season, the sharp-shooting forward joined the Mauve and Yellows at the beginning of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season, for his first premier league football,he sustained an ankle injury during the Tarkwa based outfits 0-0 stalemate with Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in week three.
The 21-year old lanky striker has begun personal training after series of medical attention and rehabilitation, and he is set to join the rest of his teammates in the next two or three weeks.
Speaking after Tuesday’s training, the young forward said; he’s happy to be back again on the field.
” I am happy I have recovered, can’t wait to play for Medeama, thank you all” he told Medeama Media.
