The Chief Executive officer of National Youth Authority (NYA), Hon Pius Enam- Hadzide is appealing to the government and Axim Municipal Assembly to assist them complete a stalled Axim Sports Complex.
Speaking during a visit to the site, the former deputy Sports Minister pleaded with the government to raise some funds to complete the project.
‘I want to appeal to government as well as Axim Municipal to take up the project and complete it for the good people of Axim and its environs”.he told Axim-based Nzema FM.
“In fact I’m overwhelmed with the progress of the work, we will do our best to make sure the project is completed” he added.
The 5,000 ultra modern facility which costed the central government $1M USD.The facility will have complete dressing room, VIP lounge, spacious car park and whole a lots facilities when completed.
The edifice will serve as an economic invigorator and contribute in strengthening the image of the fishing community.
