Former Bayern Munich forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt scored the only goal as Holstein Kiel won Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga II on Sunday.
The Black Stars striker scored the only goal after twenty minutes as the Storks returned to winning ways in the German second tier league.
Okyere Wriedt lasted 66 minutes as he was subbed for Benedikt Pichler.
The Ghanaian international has now scored three goals in ten outings since arriving in January from Dutch side Willem II.
The 27-year old was part of the Black Stars team that earned World Cup qualification for Ghana in the game against Nigeria.
He played as a second half substitute in both duels against the Super Eagles.
