The former Black Stars captain lasted the entire duration of the game in a friendly match against the Three Lions in Wembley.
Andy Carroll scores an untamed left-footed goal which almost appeared to be the match winner for England.
Howbeit, former Sunderland sharp-shooter, Asamoah Gyan in added time of the second half curled in a left-footed effort which resulted in the equalizing goal.
Narrating that moment in an interview on Peace FM, the Ex-Legon Cities man said, that goal is the best he ever scored.
“My favorite goal is the one against England and the other one I scored against Congo. It was a world cup qualifiers. It was one of my best goals, we drew 1-1. I don’t know if the tape is there that was in 2006,” Asamoah Gyan recounted.
