Former Karela United captain Isaac Hagan has revealed reason behind his early retirement from football.
The Ex-Black Stars B goalkeeper underwent health test in 2020 forcing him to be ruled out from his side’s 2020-21 Campaign.
Speaking on West End Radio, the experienced goalkeeper confirmed his immediate retirement today for health reasons.
“It’s hard decision though, but for health reasons I need to call it a quit” I have spent a lot since 2020 and it will be wise medically to retire and save my life” he said.
Hagan was a member of the 2019 Black Stars B team that finished 2nd in the WAFU Nations tournament staged in Senegal.
The former B.A United and Liberty Professionals shot-stopper retired at age 28.
