Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan says the Porcupine Warriors will win this season’s Premier League despite their recent form.
With just four matches to the end of the 2021/22 football season, Kotoko are on top of the league ladder with six points more than second-placed Medeama SC.
Though Asante Kotoko has the brightest chance of winning the league, they still have to win at least two more matches to guarantee the title.
Speaking on the Kotoko recent forms, Asamoah Gyan was emphatic that Kotoko will win this season’s Ghana Premier League title for a record 25th time.
“Kotoko has almost won the league at the beginning of the year. They must finish strong; people must support them strongly.
“I hope that Kotoko will remain focused not only on the title but the other matches, and I think with the coach, with Nana Yaw Amponsah, with the playing body, they should succeed so that we will be praying for them,” said Herbert.
The Porcupine Warriors next play Medeama at the Tarkwa Akoon Community Park in the Ghana premier league.
